Project Overview
On the occasion of
Interpack Düsseldorf 2026, Saglietti Group designed and built a 60-square-meter trade show booth for
EPF Elettrotecnica S.r.l., handling the engineering and construction of the custom-designed booth. The project was developed to create a recognizable and functional space capable of
showcasing the brand within an international trade show setting.
A custom-made curved counter
The centerpiece of the trade show booth is the
large, curved central counter, an element that required particularly precise craftsmanship. The structure was crafted from
oak veneer, with special attention paid to the continuity of the grain along the curved surface to achieve a
uniform, almost monolithic visual effect. The countertop incorporates an LED lighting system, integrated directly into the structure via a dedicated profile. In this way, the light becomes an integral part of the design, highlighting the counter’s curve
without exposing any technical elements.
Brand Details and Identity
The graphic elements were also custom-designed. The EPF logo was crafted from 19 mm white-lacquered MDF and cut using a pantograph, creating a three-dimensional element attached to the counter structure. The choice of materials, finishes, and lighting helps create an
environment consistent with the client’s identity while maintaining a minimalist and contemporary aesthetic.
A modular structure with a curved wall
The stand’s design called for a
modular structure made of honeycomb panels, which were also used to construct the large curved element that characterizes the space. The geometry of the wall thus becomes an integral part of the stand’s architecture, defining the pathways and organizing the various functions within the available 60 square meters.
Graphic Fabric and the Clipso System
To highlight the large curved wall, the surface was entirely covered with a
printed graphic fabric, secured to the structure using
Clipso profiles. This solution creates a continuous and uniform graphic surface, transforming the wall into a communication element without resorting to traditional painting. The result is a graphic design integrated into the stand’s architecture, creating a
clean, high-impact visual effect.
Reusing Existing Furniture
The project also involved reusing and repurposing some furnishings from previous trade show editions. Tables and chairs were integrated into the new layout, adapting them to the space’s configuration. Reusing these elements allowed them to serve a new purpose within a
completely revamped project, thereby reducing the need to produce new furniture for the exhibition setup.
Design, Engineering, and Construction
From the modular design to the oak finishes, from the curved wall to the integrated lighting system, every element of the EPF booth at
Interpack Düsseldorf was developed with a balanced consideration of aesthetic, technical, and functional requirements. The result is a custom-designed trade show booth that combines
design, engineering, specialized craftsmanship, and attention to detail, transforming a 60-square-meter space into an exhibition environment consistent with the brand’s identity and the requirements of an international trade show.
