{"id":281472,"date":"2025-11-14T11:00:29","date_gmt":"2025-11-14T10:00:29","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/sagliettigroup.it\/turning-point-exhibition-for-torino-urban-lab\/"},"modified":"2026-03-13T16:37:17","modified_gmt":"2026-03-13T15:37:17","slug":"turning-point-exhibition-for-torino-urban-lab","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/sagliettigroup.it\/en\/turning-point-exhibition-for-torino-urban-lab\/","title":{"rendered":"&#8220;Turning Point&#8221; exhibition for Torino Urban Lab."},"content":{"rendered":"<div class=\"article-section\">\n<h2>The setting that gives voice to the city<\/h2>\n<h3>When exhibit design puts itself at the service of urban planning<\/h3>\n<p>The exhibition &#8220;<strong><a href=\"https:\/\/urbanlabtorino.it\/home-page\/turning-point\/\">Turning Point &#8211; Revealing the Future<\/a><\/strong>&#8220;, opened at <a href=\"https:\/\/urbanlabtorino.it\/home-page\/turning-point\/\"><strong>Urban Lab Torino<\/strong><\/a>, represents an exemplary case of <strong>cultural staging<\/strong> that can combine <strong>technical rigor<\/strong>, <strong>economic attention<\/strong> and <strong>narrative coherence<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/sagliettigroup.it\/en\/\"><strong>Saglietti Group<\/strong><\/a> directly oversaw every phase of the executive project, without the presence of external architectural firms: an <strong>autonomous work<\/strong> that required the <strong>resolution of structural issues<\/strong>, the <strong>enhancement of existing elements<\/strong> and the<strong>functional optimization of spaces.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The intervention is included within the <strong>overall renovation<\/strong> of the <strong>exhibition venue<\/strong> of <a href=\"https:\/\/urbanlabtorino.it\/home-page\/turning-point\/\"><strong>Urban Lab<\/strong> <\/a>and will remain on view until <strong>May 31, 2026<\/strong>. The commission entrusted <a href=\"https:\/\/sagliettigroup.it\/en\/\">Saglietti Group<\/a> with the<strong>complete installation of<\/strong> a <strong>path dedicated to the urban transformation of Turin<\/strong>, with focus on <strong>two symbolic places<\/strong>: the <strong>Valentino Park<\/strong> and the <strong>Cavallerizza Reale<\/strong>.  These are complemented by a <strong>&#8220;soon&#8221; section<\/strong> devoted to <strong>ongoing projects<\/strong>, such as the <strong>Metro Line 2<\/strong>, the <strong>Health Park<\/strong> and the rehabilitation of the <strong>Former Tobacco Factory<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<div class=\"spacer\"><\/div>\n<h2>Tailored exhibit design: smart solutions, lasting results<\/h2>\n<p>The entire project was developed according to a logic of <strong>sustainability<\/strong>, <strong>modularity<\/strong>, and <strong>maintenance accessibility<\/strong>. The route opens with a <strong>large map of Turin printed on the floor<\/strong>, <strong>orienting the visitor<\/strong> and providing an<strong>immediate overview<\/strong>. <\/p>\n<p>The <strong>walls<\/strong> house <strong>large-format prints<\/strong> and <strong>interactive visual stations<\/strong>, with <strong>blue lacquered displays<\/strong> and <strong>integrated monitors<\/strong>. Each structure is designed to provide <strong>simplified access to internal components<\/strong>, allowing <strong>quick<\/strong> and <strong>invisible<\/strong> interventions. <\/p>\n<p>Particularly significant is the <strong>large LED backlit wall<\/strong>, with <strong>custom stretched curtain<\/strong>, installed in the first room to <strong>mask a compromised surface<\/strong>: an example of <strong>how the technical solution can become a narrative device.<\/strong> Colors, graphics and visual coherence were defined in <strong>constant dialogue with <a href=\"https:\/\/urbanlabtorino.it\/home-page\/turning-point\/\">Urban Lab<\/a><\/strong>, although without an external graphic design: a further demonstration of<strong> <a href=\"https:\/\/sagliettigroup.it\/en\/\">Saglietti Group<\/a>&#8216;s integrated approach<\/strong>. <\/p>\n<p>The <strong>audio elements<\/strong> were also subject to <strong>design readjustment<\/strong>: the <strong>handsets<\/strong> already in the exhibition were <strong>integrated and updated<\/strong> to provide <strong>customized sound narration<\/strong> for each urban project.
