Our task is to build its shape. <\/p>\n<p>The <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.visitlmr.it\/it\">Alba Tourism Office<\/a> redevelopment project<\/strong> allowed us to <strong>shape a strategic public space<\/strong> in the heart of the <strong>Langhe<\/strong> with a <strong>clear vision<\/strong>: to create an environment capable of <strong>welcoming<\/strong>, <strong>orienting<\/strong> and <strong>telling<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>A place that, while maintaining an <strong>institutional function<\/strong>, must restore an<strong>experience of warmth<\/strong>, <strong>functionality<\/strong> and <strong>deep connection with the local landscape and culture<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<div class=\"spacer\"><\/div>\n<h2>Identifying design and operational functionality in downtown Alba<\/h2>\n<h3>A new space to welcome, inform, tell<\/h3>\n<p>The  <strong>new <a href=\"https:\/\/www.visitlmr.it\/it\">Alba Tourism Office<\/a><\/strong>, in <strong>Piazza Risorgimento 2<\/strong>, is now a <strong>modular and dynamic environment<\/strong>, redesigned to <strong>improve usability<\/strong> and <strong>restore coherence<\/strong> between <strong>function and image<\/strong>. The <strong>pre-existing space<\/strong> &#8211; about <strong>110 square meters<\/strong> in a 1980s structure &#8211; has been <strong>completely transformed<\/strong> according to a <strong>concept developed by Arch. Marco Poncellini and Elisabetta Grasso<\/strong> (<a href=\"https:\/\/www.langhe-experience.it\/it\/\"><strong>Langhe Experience<\/strong><\/a>), in close synergy with <a href=\"https:\/\/sagliettigroup.it\/en\/\"><strong>Saglietti Group<\/strong><\/a>, which handled <strong>executive design, production, construction management and construction site.<\/strong> <\/p>\n<p><strong>Materials<\/strong>, <strong>colors<\/strong>, and <strong>geometries<\/strong> are designed to <strong>enhance territorial identity<\/strong>: <strong>solid oak<\/strong>, <strong>natural finishes<\/strong>, <strong>warm tones<\/strong>, and <strong>backlit images of the hills<\/strong> create an <strong>immersive environment<\/strong> designed to <strong>welcome visitors<\/strong> and <strong>tell them about an area<\/strong> even before words, with the space itself.<\/p>\n<p>The <strong>heart of the project<\/strong> is a <strong>large solid oak central table<\/strong>, made from <a href=\"https:\/\/legnamipriola.com\/\"><strong>Legnami Priola<\/strong><\/a>: symbolic and functional fulcrum of the reception. <strong>Concentric circles<\/strong> develop from this point: double-sided information modules, four accessible operating stations, a children&#8217;s corner, backlit visual drapes, and narrative points designed for all audiences. <\/p>\n<p>Within the <strong>tight timeframe imposed by the construction site (30 days)<\/strong>, the <strong>existing porcelain tile raised floor<\/strong> was <strong>enhanced<\/strong> through <strong>custom-made solid oak squares<\/strong>, thanks to the collaboration with <a href=\"https:\/\/www.giorio.it\/\"><strong>Giorio Srl<\/strong><\/a>: a solution that integrates <strong>plant functionality and aesthetic comfort<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>The details reveal<strong>Saglietti Group&#8217;s attention to craftsmanship<\/strong>: <strong>curved skirting boards shaped to fit existing columns<\/strong>, <strong>a custom-made cover for the air conditioning pump<\/strong> turned into a <strong>display cabinet<\/strong>, <strong>counters accessible to people with disabilities<\/strong> without sacrificing aesthetics.<\/p>\n<div class=\"spacer\"><\/div>\n<h2>Synergy between design, production and construction site<\/h2>\n<h3>A full service: from concept to assembly<\/h3>\n<p>The strength of <a href=\"https:\/\/sagliettigroup.it\/en\/\"><strong>Saglietti Group<\/strong><\/a> is the ability to offer a <strong>integrated service<\/strong>, where <strong>every stage-from<\/strong> <strong>design<\/strong> to <strong>production<\/strong> to <strong>assembly-is<\/strong> <strong>handled in-house<\/strong> with precision, reliability, and attention to detail.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Technical design and prototyping<\/strong> by Daria Bergese<\/li>\n<li><strong>Construction management and site coordination<\/strong>, supervised by Elisa Mondino<\/li>\n<li><strong>In-house production<\/strong>: joinery, pre-assembly, painting and printing<\/li>\n<li><strong>Local technical collaborations<\/strong>: <a href=\"https:\/\/legnamipriola.com\/\">Legnami Priola<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.giorio.it\/\">Giorio Srl<\/a> and other specialized suppliers<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>This approach allowed us to <strong>manage the site without ever interrupting office operations<\/strong>, ensuring a <strong>smooth transition between old and new configuration<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>The office today is more than an information point: it is an <strong>experiential space<\/strong>, where visitors can <strong>recognize the visual codes of the area<\/strong>, <strong>feel welcomed<\/strong> and <strong>quickly find what they need<\/strong>, thanks to a layout that is clear, accessible and deeply connected to the cultural landscape of the Langhe.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Tourism in the spotlight Every territory has a voice.
