Design and technology for innovative corporate spaces
At the heart of the collaboration with
Ekinex, a leader in intelligent building automation, we developed interventions that combine
aesthetics, functionality and technical precision. The project resulted in
Spazio Red, an incubator of more than
1,200 square meters consisting of offices, laboratories and operational areas designed to support
dynamic teams engaged in innovation for home & building automation, IoT and Industry 4.0.
Identity, functionality and design: a concept taking shape in Ekinex spaces
Offices and meeting room - the first collaboration (2016)
The first phase of the project involved the second floor, where the initial drawings were transformed into
actual construction solutions with attention to detail to reflect the brand identity and increase operational efficiency. Major deliverables include:
- Birch plywood and glass partition walls, shaped like small houses
- Birch frames to define volume and depth, enhancing light and room perception
- Custom-designed desks with built-in cable hatches and red surfaces in brand recall
These elements ensure
visual lightness, aesthetic consistency and practicality for daily work.
Evolving spaces: new areas for meetings, gatherings and operational work
Mini-meeting and meeting rooms - ground floor expansion (2023)
2023,
Ekinex entrusted Saglietti Group with the transformation of an area of about
95 square meters on the ground floor, resulting in a complete and functional intervention:
- Self-supporting curtain wall made of laminated glass, with internal casing to increase depth and transparency
- Booth for mini-meetings with colorful faux leather sofas, built-in sockets and side tables made without visible screws
- Custom-made meeting room with 2.40 × 2.40 m table, iron frame covered with birch, grommet holes and wooden frame

flexible, ergonomic spaces that are perfectly consistent with the visual identity of the brand.

Technical collaborations and in-house production
The strength of our method lies in the
integrated management of all stages: design, production and assembly. Collaboration with selected partners, such as
Vetreria Cassinelli, has made it possible to produce high quality laminated and tempered glass. The end result is a balance between
aesthetics, safety and functionality, guaranteed without interfering with the daily activities of the company.
